About Dylan Torres
My name is Dylan Torres (He/Him). I am a combat designer for video games.
While I specialize in combat system design first and foremost, I have implemented many other systems that may tie indirectly to combat or have no ties to combat and may be useful for other aspects of games. I’ve also experimented with tools such as Adam Le Doux's Bitsy software, 3D modeling in Autodesk Maya and Blockbench, and texturing and baking 3D models using ZBrush.
In regards to my interests, I’ve always had a natural fondness for video games. In particular, my favorite genre is the fighting game. These games, in addition to a childhood martial arts background in American Kenpo, have influenced me to specialize in developing combat systems across all types of gaming genres. Of course, any type of interactive game holds my love and respect, but it’s been a long-standing dream of mine to someday create fighting games of my own. Surely, I aim to populate this website with them in the years to come, but please be on the lookout for any and all productions I pour my spirit into!
For further inquiries and requests to collaborate, my other social media accounts can be located in the footer section across all the webpages this portfolio site provides.
Here’s to good times together.
